エゼキエル 47:9 （新改訳SKY17）　この川が流れて行くどこででも、そこに群がるあらゆる生物は生き、非常に多くの魚がいるようになる。この水が入ると、そこの水が良くなるからである。この川が入るところでは、すべてのものが生きる。
（JCB）　この川の水に触れるものはすべて生き生きとする。魚が住める水に変えられるので、死海にも魚がいっぱいになる。この水が流れ込む所はどこでも、すべてのものが生かされる。

主の臨在（栄光）が満ちた神の宮（神殿）（43:4‐5； 44:4参照）を源とする川が流れ出るのをエゼキエルに見せられました。この川は最初少しばかりのちょろちょろでしたが、流れ行くときにその水かさを増し、巨大な勢いある川となり、「川は泳げるほどになり、渡ることのできない川となった。」（5節 SKY17）。その両岸には多くの木があり、実を実るだけではなく、その葉も国々のいやしとなったとあります（12節参照）。しかし、最も驚くべき特徴はその川のいやしと回復をもたらす性質です。「この水が流れ込む所はどこでも、すべてのものが生かされる。」（9節 JCB）。この川は神殿から流れ下り死海まで流れるのをエゼキエルが見られました。「この川は東に流れて、砂漠地帯とヨルダン渓谷を通って死海に注いでいる。こうして死海の塩分の多い水を浄化し、新鮮な水に変えるのだ。」（8節JCB）。その結果、「魚が住める水に変えられるので、死海にも魚がいっぱいになる。」（8節 JCB）。この川は聖書の最初エデンの園から流れているのを見ます（創世記2:10参照）。また、聖書の最後の黙示録では主なる神の御座から流れているのを見ます（黙示録22:1‐3参照）。イエスはこのように招きました。「だれでも渇いているなら、わたしのもとに来て飲みなさい。わたしを信じる者は、聖書が言っているとおり、その人の心の奥底から、生ける水の川が流れ出るようになります。」（ヨハネ 7:37-38 SKY17）。また、黙示録の中ででも同じように招きました。「事は成就した。わたしはアルファであり、オメガである。初めであり、終わりである。わたしは渇く者に、いのちの水の泉からただで飲ませる。」（黙示録21:6 SKY17）。神の川、いのちの川のところに来て、ぞんぶん飲みましょう。

Ezk 47:9 AFV And it shall be that every living creature which swarms in every place, there where the rivers go, every thing shall live. And there shall be very many fish because these waters shall come there. And they shall be healed. And all shall live where the river goes.

Observation
Ezekiel is shown a river whose source is the Temple of God (see v.1), where the Lord’s presence and glory was (see 43:4-5; 44:4).  It is an ever increasing river that although it begins as a trickle soon becomes a vast and mighty river, “the water had risen, water to swim in, a river that could not be passed.” (v.5 AFV).  There were also many trees on the banks (see v.7) which bear fruit but also whose leaves were for the healing of the nations (see v.12). But the most amazing characteristic of this river was its healing and restorative power. “All shall live where the river goes.”  Ezekiel sees this river flow east and down into the Dead Sea. “These waters go out toward the east country, and go down into the Arabah, and go into the sea. They are brought out into the sea, and its waters shall be healed.” (v.8 AFV). The result was that “there shall be very many fish because these waters shall come there.” We see this river in the very beginning flowed out of the Garden of Eden (see Gen 2:10).  And we also see it at the very end flowing from the Throne of God (Rev 22:1-3).  Jesus gave us this invitation: “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 The one who believes in Me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:37-38 AFV).  He also gives the same invitation at the very end of the book of Revelations. “It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts, I will give freely of the fountain of the water of life.” (Rev 21:6 AFV).  Let’s come to the River and drink of the Waters of Life.
