エゼキエル 47:13-14 （新改訳SKY17）　神である主はこう言われる。「あなたがたがイスラエルの十二の部族に、この地を相続地として与えるときの境界は、次のとおりである。ヨセフには二つ分を与える。14あなたがたは、それを等分に割り当てなければならない。それは、わたしがかつて、あなたがたの父祖たちに与えると誓約したものである。この地は相続地としてあなたがたのものである。

コメント
主なる神は約束の神です。約束されたことを決して忘れず、決して破らない。この約束の地をイスラエルの部族に割り当ててますが、民数記34章でモーセがイスラエルの部族に約束の地をときとほぼ同じ分と境です。また、ヨセフにも約束されたことを忘れず、二つの部族としてみなし、二倍の相続地を与えました（創世記48:5、21‐22；49:22‐26など参照）。へブル書で、主なる神は私たちにも約束を与えて、自分にかけて誓われ、それを成就されることを思い起こさせています（へブル6:13,17など参照）。そして、主は多くの約束を私たちに与えられています。「主イエスの、神としての御力は、いのちと敬虔をもたらすすべてのものを、私たちに与えました。その栄光と栄誉を通して、尊く大いなる約束が私たちに与えられています。」（2ペテロ 1:3-4　SKY17）。へブル書ではこのように語っています。「キリストは新しい契約の仲介者です。それは、初めの契約のときの違反から贖い出すための死が実現して、召された者たちが、約束された永遠の資産を受け継ぐためです。」（へブル9:15 SKY17）。さらにヘブル書は私たちに促して言っています。「約束してくださった方は真実な方ですから、私たちは動揺しないで、しっかりと希望を告白し続けようではありませんか。35 ですから、あなたがたの確信を投げ捨ててはいけません。その確信には大きな報いがあります。36あなたがたが神のみこころを行って、約束のものを手に入れるために必要なのは、忍耐です。」(ヘブル10:23、35-36 SKY17)。「約束してくださった方は真実な方．．．」であることを忘れないでいましょう。(民数記 23:19も参照）。

Ezk 47:13-14 NIV84  This is what the Sovereign LORD says: “These are the boundaries by which you are to divide the land for an inheritance among the twelve tribes of Israel, with two portions for Joseph. 14 You are to divide it equally among them. Because I swore with uplifted hand to give it to your forefathers, this land will become your inheritance.

Observation
The Lord God is a God of Promise.  He makes promises and never forgets or reneges on what He says.  This division of the Land of Promise is almost exactly the same as the boundaries described by Moses in Numbers 34.  He also does not forget his promise to Joseph that they would become two tribes and receive a double portion (see Gen 48:5, 21-22; 49:22-26). The Book of Hebrews reminds us that God is the one who has given us promises and even swore by himself that he would fulfill them. (see Heb 6:13,17 etc.).  In the same way the Lord God has given us many promises. “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises.” (2Pet 1:3-4 NIV84). Hebrews tell us, “For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance. (Heb 9:15 NIV84). Then Hebrews goes on to challenge us, “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 35 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. 36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. (Heb 10:23,35-36 NIV84). Let us never forget “He who promised is faithful…” (see also Num 23:19).
