エゼキエル 48:35 （新改訳　SKY17）町の周囲は一万八千キュビト。この町の名は、その日から『主はそこにおられる』となる。」

コメント
この最後の一節はこれまでの40‐48章で説明し述べられている神殿と都のすべてをひとことでまとめています。「主はそこにおられる」。これは神のヤーウエイの名の一つです、ヤーウエイ・シャマー」。主がモーセに幕屋を造るようにと言われた時にも言いました。「彼らにわたしのための聖所を造らせよ。そうすれば、わたしは彼らのただ中に住む。」（出エジプト記 25:8 SKY17）。ここでエゼキエルが説明している町は四隅ある四角の町でした（48:30‐35参照）。これは黙示録の終わりにも説明されている町と非常に類似している、ただし、その大きさは違います（黙示録 21:9-27参照）。神はまたここででもその意図と願いを述べています。「見よ、神の幕屋が人々とともにある。神は人々とともに住み、人々は神の民となる。神ご自身が彼らの神として、ともにおられる。」(黙示録 21:3 SKY17)。御使いがヨセフに夢の中で現れた時、メシヤに関するイザヤの預言を引用して言いました。「見よ、処女が身ごもっている。そして男の子を産む。その名はインマヌエルと呼ばれる。」それは、訳すと「神が私たちとともにおられる」という意味である。(マタイ1:23 SKY17)。使徒ヨハネが福音書の最初でイエスを紹介するときにも言いました。「ことばは人となって、私たちの間に住まわれた（直訳‐幕屋された）。私たちはこの方の栄光を見た。父のみもとから来られたひとり子としての栄光である。この方は恵みとまことに満ちておられた。(ヨハネ1:14 SKY17)。今も、変わらず、主なる神の願いは私たちとともに住むことです。そして、聖霊を通して、私たちの内に内住する（住み、満たす）のです（ローマ8:11; 1コリント 3:16も参照）。

Observation
This is the verse that summarizes everything that chapters 40-48 are meant to convey.  “The Lord is there (here)” This is one of the Yahweh Names of God. When the Lord told Moses the purpose of building the Tabernacle of Moses he said, “Let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.” (Exo 25:8 AMPC). This city described in Ezekiel was to be a four-square city (see 48:30-35). This is also very similar to the City described in Revelations (see Rev 21:9-27), except for the size. Again, God declares his intention and desire, “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.” (Rev 21:3 NIV84). The angel who appeared to Joseph quoted Isaiah’s prophecy concerning the birth of Messiah, “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.”. (Matt 1:23 NIV84) When the Apostle John introduces Jesus at the beginning of his gospel he says, “And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us (and we ourselves beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten with the Father), full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14 AFV). This is also the Lord God’s desire now, to live with us and He does so by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (see Rom 8:11; 1Cor 3:16).
