1歴代誌 16:23-25 (新改訳SKY17)　 全地よ、主に歌え。日から日へと、御救いの良い知らせを告げよ。24主の栄光を国々の間で語り告げよ。その奇しいみわざを、あらゆる民の間で。25主は大いなる方、大いに賛美される方。すべての神々にまさって恐れられる方だ。

ダビデ王はこの賛歌（詩篇）をアサフとレビ人の賛美リーダーの方々に渡して、神の偉大さを賛美し、宣言し、国々の間に神の栄光を掲げるようにと命じました。ここに記載されている賛歌は詩篇の中ででも記録されているものです。最初の分（8‐22節）は詩篇105:1-15にも含まれています。次の分（23‐33節）は詩篇96にも書かれています。最後の分（34‐36節）は詩篇の106にも記録されています。主なる神への賛美はある限られた人々（イスラエル人、数人のクリスチャン信者など）だけが賛美するべきではありません。全世界のすべての国々とその民の間で主なる神の偉大さをほめたたえられ、宣言されるべきです。なぜでしょうか？この良きおとずれ（グッド・ニュース、福音）はすべてのもののためだからです。主のくすしい御わざは全世界の人々の間に現わされているからです。主なる神はある人種や民族だけの神ではなく、全地の全ての人々の神だからです。それでは他の「神々」と呼ばれているものはどうでしょうか（26節参照）？空しい偶像です。いのちのない偶像です。無意味で、ナンセンスで無価値のものです。原語で使われている言葉は「役立たず、空しい、思い上がったもの、無価値、絶無」の意味です。対して、主なる神（アドナイ、エホバ、ヤーウエイ）は全万物の創造主です（ヨハネ1:3； コロサイ 1:16-17; 詩篇146:6； イザヤ 37:16; 44:24; 45:12,18など参照）。また、すべての上に支配される主権者なる神です。それゆえ宣言し讃えています。「主は大いなる方、大いに賛美される方。すべての神々にまさって恐れられる方だ！」だから私たちは我らの主なる神を賛美し礼拝するのです。

1Ch 16:23-25 (NKJV)  Sing to the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. 24 Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples. 25 For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above all gods.

Observation
David gave Asaph and the Levite worship leaders a psalm to sing and declared the greatness of God and publish his glory among all the nations.  The first section of this psalm (v. 8-22) is also recorded in Psalm 105:1-15. The second section (v.23-33) is recorded in Psalms 96.  The last section (v.34-36) is included in Psalms 106.  The worship of the Lord God is not just to be limited to a small group of people, Israel, or a few Christian believers; it is meant to be sung and declared among all the nations and peoples of the earth.  Why? Because this is Good News for everyone. Because the Lord works his wonders among all the peoples everywhere. Because the Lord God is not just a God of a certain race or people group but is the Lord of all the earth.  So what about all the other “so-called gods” (see v.26)? They are “worthless idols” (ESV), “lifeless idols” (AMPC),  stuff and nonsense” (MSG), (original Heb, “good for nothing, vain, vanity, no value, thing of nought.”). But the Lord God (Adonai, Jehovah, Yayweh) is the Creator of all things ( see John 1:3; Col 1:16-17; Psa 146:6; Isa 37:16; 44:24; 45:12,18 etc.); and Sovereign Lord over all. That is why they declared, “For Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise…!” This is why we are to worship and praise the Lord our God!
