雅歌 3:7-8 (リビングバイブル JCB) 6没薬や香料、そのほか手に入る限りの 香りのあるものを漂わせながら、煙のように荒野から上って来る人はだれでしょう。7ごらんなさい。あれは六十人のえりぬきの勇士に守られた、ソロモン王のみこしです。8みな腕の立つ兵士で、経験を積んだ護衛の者たちです。めいめい、夜襲に備えて王を守るため、腰に剣を下げています。

コメント
これはソロモン王が花婿として、婚礼の場へ花嫁を迎えに行く姿を描いています。主イエス・キリストが帰ってこられるときの一つの姿を現す一つの描写は花婿として花嫁を迎える姿です。その時現れる姿は栄光に輝く、壮大な姿です。（詩篇68:17‐19；黙示録 19:17-19 参照）。私たちは花婿を迎える花嫁のように、整えて待っているべきです（黙示録 9:6‐9参照）。「私たちは喜び楽しみ、神をほめたたえよう。子羊の婚礼の時が来て、花嫁は用意ができたのだから。花嫁は、輝くきよい亜麻布を　まとうことが許された。その亜麻布とは、聖徒たちの正しい行いである。」(黙示録 19:7-8 SKY17)。また、黙示録の最後の光景の一つはこの花嫁が花婿に迎えられてともに新天新地に戻り共に住まいを設ける様子です。「私はまた、聖なる都、新しいエルサレムが、夫のために飾られた花嫁のように整えられて、神のみもとから、天から降って来るのを見た。私はまた、大きな声が御座から出て、こう言うのを聞いた。「見よ、神の幕屋が人々とともにある。神は人々とともに住み、人々は神の民となる。神ご自身が彼らの神として、ともにおられる。」(黙示録 21:2-3 SKY17)。私たちは花婿を迎える用意ができているでしょうか？愛する者と共にいる、住むことを切に待ち望んでいるでしょうか？

SS 3:6-7 (NLT)Young Women of Jerusalem Who is this sweeping in from the wilderness like a cloud of smoke? Who is it, fragrant with myrrh and frankincense and every kind of spice? 7 Look, it is Solomon’s carriage, surrounded by sixty heroic men, the best of Israel’s soldiers.

Observation
This is a description of King Solomon coming as the Bridegroom to meet his bride at the wedding. One of the most descriptive pictures of Christ returning is that of the Bridegroom coming to meet and welcome his Bride. His return is going to be glorious, magnificent (see Psa 68:17-19; Rev 19:11-16). We are to make ourselves ready for his return as a Bride prepares herself for her Bridegroom (see Rev 19:6-9). “Let us be glad and rejoice, and let us give honor to him. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself. 8 She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.” For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy people.” (Rev 19:7-8 NLT). We see the Bride who has completed her preparations and come back to the earth, her permanent home with her beloved. “ And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.” (Rev 21:3 NLT).  Are we ready to meet our Bridegroom?  Are we longing to be with our Beloved who gave himself for us?
