ローマ12:9-14（新改訳SKY2017）　見せかけだけで人を愛してはいけません。真心から愛しなさい。悪いことを憎み、良いことには賛成しなさい。 10兄弟のような愛情で互いに愛し合い、また、心から尊敬し合いなさい。 11決して仕事を怠けず、熱心に主に仕えなさい。 12あなたがたのために神が計画しておられることすべてを喜びなさい。困難に耐え、常に祈りなさい。 13仲間が困っている時には、助けてあげなさい。客を家に招いてもてなし、宿が必要なら泊めてあげるようにしなさい。 14迫害されても、のろってはいけません。むしろ、神がその人を祝福してくださるように祈ってあげなさい。

コメント

パウロはクリスチャンとして生きる者の特質をいくつか挙げています。純粋に愛する者。悪を憎む者。互いに愛し尊重する者。熱心に働き、熱い心をもって主に仕える者。希望を持って喜ぶ者。苦難（困難）に耐える者。絶えず祈る者。寛大な心を持って困っている人を助けるもの。迫害する人のために祈り、祝福する者。他にも私たちキリスト者の生きざまをまとめる箇所もあります：1テサロニケ5:12-22参照;旧約聖書には詩篇24:3-6もあります。ミカは簡潔ににまとめています。「主はあなたに告げられた。人よ、何が良いことなのか、主があなたに何を求めておられるのかを。それは、ただ公正を行い、誠実を愛し、へりくだって、あなたの神とともに歩むことではないか」（ミカ 6:8; 申命記10:12-13も参照）。

Rom 12:9-14 (NLT) Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. 10 Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. 11 Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. 12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. 13 When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them.

Observation

Paul sums up what the marks of a true Christian are.  Genuine love, hate evil, love and honor one another, work hard and serve enthusiastically, rejoice in hope, patient in trouble, pray without ceasing, be generous, help those in need, bless and pray for those who persecute and abuse you.  Here are some other passages that also summarize our life as Christ-followers: 1Thes 5:12-22; and in the OT Psalms 24:3-6 etc.  Micah capsulizes it up this way, “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8; see also Deut. 10:12-13)
